Pulse Player ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our Android application and website (pulseplayer.app), how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

By using Pulse Player, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app and website.

1. Information We Collect

Pulse Player is a media player. We do not create user accounts and do not ask you to submit personal information directly. However, the following data may be collected automatically through the third-party services we use:

1a. Usage & Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how users interact with the app — for example, which features are used, session duration, and general usage patterns. This data is collected in aggregate and is used solely to improve the app experience. Firebase Analytics may collect device identifiers, app version, operating system version, and general usage events.

1b. Crash Reports

We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to automatically collect crash reports and stack traces when the app encounters an error. This may include device model, OS version, app version, and the state of the app at the time of the crash. No personally identifiable information is included in crash reports.

1c. Advertising Data (AdMob)

We use Google AdMob (Google LLC) to display advertisements within the app, including rewarded ads used by our coin reward system. AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID and other non-personal identifiers to serve personalised or non-personalised ads based on your settings and location.

AdMob's data collection and use is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:

1d. Local App Data

Pulse Player uses Jetpack DataStore to save your preferences (such as theme settings, coin balance, and playback preferences) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

1e. Media File Access

To function as a media player, Pulse Player requests access to media files on your device. Files you open or download through the app remain on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. We do not access, read, or transmit your media files.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond those listed above.
